Super Lawyers, a division of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service that recognizes outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. The selection process is rigorous and designed to identify attorneys who have achieved a high degree of peer recognition and professional accomplishment.
Each year, selections are made through a patented process that begins with peer nominations from lawyers across Illinois. These candidates are then assessed through independent research before being reviewed by a panel of qualified attorneys.
Ultimately, no more than 5% of attorneys in the state are selected for this honor each year. The goal is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys that can serve as a resource for those seeking legal counsel.
